Why Rio del Monte?

The town of Bagaces lies along the Inter-American highway just south of Liberia and only minutes from the Liberia International Airport.  There are many small rural roads leading up into the Guanacaste Mountains, and one of the main attractions is the Miravalles Volcano region.

Tourists flock to the area to enjoy lakes and creeks, Mineral Spas and Hot Springs of Miravalles.

To the south of Bagaces, you will find National Parks, Bird Watching, Horseback Riding, Canopy Tours and ATV Riding are just a few of the activities in the area.  There are also plenty of water activities near by such as Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, White Water Rafting, Kayaking, Sport Fishing and Surfing.  If Shopping or Day Spas are more your thing Liberia is only a short drive away.
